SBG Chart Viewer
A PowerPoint add-in that shows interactive HTML charts on a slide.
What it does
The add-in places a frame on a slide and shows an HTML page inside it: typically an interactive chart with hover tooltips and selectors. The HTML is saved inside the presentation file. Controls appear only in edit view; in Slide Show nothing covers the chart.
Using it
- In PowerPoint, insert SBG Chart Viewer from your add-ins (Home or Insert → Add-ins).
- Click Load HTML file… and choose a self-contained
.htmlfile. - To replace or remove it later, hover the top-right corner of the frame in edit view and open the ⋯ menu.
- Size the frame on the slide as needed – a 15:8 shape suits the standard chart layout.
Presentations previously built with Datama's HTML Viewer can be switched to this add-in without re-loading their charts.
Privacy
This site only serves the viewer's code. Your charts and data stay in your presentation file and are never sent to this server. The add-in collects no personal information, uses no cookies or analytics, and stores nothing outside the document.
Charts you load run in an isolated sandbox: their scripts cannot access PowerPoint or the rest of your document. A chart may itself fetch web fonts or other resources it references.
Requirements
- PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 (Windows, Mac or the web) with an internet connection.
- People without the add-in see a static picture of the chart instead.
